The Future of Local Events in 2026

Here in Greater Des Moines, it's simple to be a kid. Whether your concept of household enjoyable is a skate park, a smash park, an amusement park, or an actual park, Des Moines is the perfect escape, no matter if you're young or just young at heart.

Gee, what could be more fun than spring break with the kids? Here's a list of things you can do with the rugrats for free, and they're fun, too.

The outdoor park is totally free to check out every day from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
